This DECOP craft punch cuts and embosses a cherry blossom design in one simple motion, giving your paper a soft, dimensional finish. It’s perfect for scrapbooks, handmade cards and keepsake albums where a cherry blossom detail adds a special Japanese or spring time touch.
Like the rest of the DECOP range, it works on a leverage mechanism, so pulling it through the paper takes hardly any effort. For thicker cardstock, try holding it at waist height and pressing down with your body weight for a clean result.
A few details worth knowing
The die cut spans roughly 25mm across the tips of the petals, with a compact body measuring D66 x W40 x H65mm. The lever action stays comfortable even with repeated use, and the punch is small enough to fit neatly into a craft box or drawer.
A couple of tips
Paper around 120 grams works best, similar to two sheets of standard copy paper. Fine papers like washi or origami paper can jam the mechanism, so it helps to layer a couple of sheets together or back them with a sheet of copy paper first. As with all DECOP punches, this one is designed for paper only.
